KateHaa Climbing Arch Cushion: A Must-Have for Every Toy

The KateHaa Climbing Arch Cushion offers the perfect addition to the climbing arch, ensuring safety and comfort for children at all times. With strong fastening through four ties on each side and thick padding, this cushion is an indispensable complement to your child's toy.

Materials and Finish

Made from 100% natural cotton, the climbing arch cushion is skin-friendly, breathable, and awarded the Oeko-Tex® certificate. The hand-sewn poufs not only guarantee a cozy environment for your child but are also easy to clean and resistant to daily play and washing.

Designed for a Perfect Fit

Available in two sizes – Original and XXL – the cushion is precisely tailored to fit the KateHaa climbing arch. Equipped with eight high-quality sewn ties for strong attachment, you can be sure the cushion will always stay in place.

Certified Quality and Safety

The KateHaa activity toys, including the climbing arch cushion, are tested and certified by the SGS Institute in Germany according to the Toy Safety Directive 2009/48/EC. Each product is certified to withstand a load of up to 50 kg / 110 lbs, confirming the safety and durability of our toy.

Washing Instructions for Your Cushion

Your cushion can be washed on the wool cycle with a minimum spin speed of 400 revolutions per minute.

If you do not have a dryer available, gently press out excess moisture with a dry cotton towel. Then place the cushion next to a heater or radiator to dry completely.

If you can use a dryer, first use it for about 10 minutes to pre-dry the cushion. Afterwards, place it next to a heater or radiator to finish the drying process. If your dryer has a "hot air" or "warm air" function, we recommend using it.

Please note that washing programs with higher spin speeds may cause the filling to clump and lose its original fluffiness.

Swinging, rocking, climbing, hiding – when a play device can do all that, children's eyes light up! That's exactly what the "Hörnchen" is: a multi-talent.

One play device, two huge possibilities: seesaw meets arch!

Our "Hörnchen" is a real transformation wonder and instantly brings good mood and movement into play. The special thing: With a simple twist, you turn the gentle climbing rocker an exciting Climbing arch – and vice versa! Double the play pleasure, without any tools or conversion. That’s what we call clever, right?

• As a rocker: Simply sit in (alone or sometimes with two, depending on size!), hold on tight, and the swinging fun begins! The gentle rocking calms and playfully trains the sense of balance.

• As a climbing arch: Turned upside down, the Hörnchen becomes a challenge for little climbers. The first climbing attempts, crawling underneath like through a tunnel, or creatively integrating it into a whole movement landscape – here children discover their motor skills and courage step by step. Climbing over it might take some practice, but that’s exactly what makes it exciting!

Clever & Safe: Play Fun with Brains

We want your children to play safely. That’s why the Hörnchen has a slightly asymmetrical shape. This ensures it stands stable as a bow and doesn’t easily tip forward or backward as a rocker.

Important: Supervision is always required when rocking! Please stay nearby and make sure the swinging doesn’t get too wild. Sometimes a gentle "brake" from you is needed to keep the fun safe.

Touch, Smell, Experience: The Quality of Our Climbers

Like all our climbers, the Hörnchen is a real piece of nature for your home:

• High-quality materials: Made from stable, durable Baltic birch plywood and rungs made of sturdy Aspen wood.

• Natural & Safe: The wood is completely untreated – no varnishes, no dyes, no harmful substances. Just pure wood, carefully hand-sanded smooth. This way, little hands can safely feel, see, and even smell the warm, natural surface.

• Fair & Sustainable: With love and care handmade in our workshop under fair conditions.

More than just playing: What the little horn promotes

With the little horn, not only fun comes to your home, but also valuable support for your child:

• Motor skills & Coordination: Climbing, rocking, balancing – all of this trains gross motor skills and muscle coordination.

• Sense of balance: Especially rocking is a great training for balance.

• Body tension & Strength: Climbing naturally strengthens the muscles.

• Self-confidence & Courage: Every new step, every mastered challenge ("I made it over the arch!") strengthens confidence in one's own abilities.

• Creativity & Free Play: Is it a bridge today, a sales stand tomorrow, or the day after part of a huge climbing castle? The little horn stimulates the imagination and can be wonderfully combined with other climbers (triangles, slides).

Our tip (from parents for parents): Let them discover!

The most important thing for us is: Let your children enjoy the Kletterlinge discover on their own! Please do not place, set, or hang your child on the Hörnchen. The greatest learning effect and pure joy come when they discover on their own what they can do – from the first cautious rocking to proud climbing over. Every child has their own pace. Be curious, patient, and always be there as a safe companion.

Who is the Hörnchen suitable for?
As soon as your child can sit securely and freely (approx. from 10 months), the fun can begin – of course always under supervision!

All important information at a glance:

• Function: Climbing seesaw & climbing arch in one

• Material: Baltic birch plywood (side parts), aspen wood (rungs), untreated & hand-sanded

• Dimensions (assembled): Height approx. 42 cm, length approx. 91 cm, width approx. 42 cm

• Load capacity: Up to max. 50 kg

• Age recommendation: From about 10 months (as soon as the child can sit securely), always under supervision

• Delivery: Space-saving disassembled for easy self-assembly. Here’s the assembly video.

• Care: Natural wood does not need oiling. Small stains or rough spots can be gently smoothed with fine sandpaper if needed.

Ready for double the play fun that grows and excites? Bring the Hörnchen home!
